For nearly four years, I have faithfully posted photos and commentary to the Curmudgeonly Professor Blog amounting to over 4,000 separate posts. This activity has taken several hours each day to edit and post photos and to write comments. Photo posting is a dreary and time consuming process waiting for them to upload. For the first three years, I averaged about 80 page views per day, a level that has since increased to an average of about 120-130 page views per day.
This amount of time spent on the blog has come at the cost of not doing a number of other things I have fallen behind on, such as reading, writing, learning technical camera and photography information, exercise and other things I need to do. Thus, I am going to take two weeks off and evaluate how I feel about continuing the existing blog, changing it, or not doing it at all.
I appreciate all of my faithful viewers from all over the world and welcome your comments. In the meantime, there are over 4,000 posts including several thousand photographs you can scroll back through. I'll be back in a couple of weeks to let you know what I am going to do. The Curmudgeonly Professor.
