I watch the mountains carefully that I can see from my windows. Last night I watched as the sunlight began decorating the mountain sides in streaks, in well-defined gorgeous patches, playing tricks on our senses and convincing us that autumn is really here. I took 45 pictures of the changing light among the fall colors, so you may get tired of them but I am likely to post many of them. This photo was taken with my wonderful new telephoto lens that my wife finally persuaded me to go ahead and buy in the spring after I coveted it for years. It is processed slightly in a Topaz filter and matted in a QuickMats4 double mat. I hope you like it. Please double click for effect. Image is copyrighted.
