Todd Seifert of the St. George Spectrum and Daily News recounts this choice little anecdote:
I remember coming home almost every night to find our cat sitting in the doorway to her [his baby girl's] room. He stood up to see who was coming through the door. As soon as he saw it was me, he would lay down under her crib until the morning. He was serving as a guard cat!
