Abandoned Sugar Beet Factory at Spanish Fork UT

Sugar beets were once a mainstay of a predominantly agricultural community in south Salt Lake Valley before the population explosion in the Valley.  This abandoned factory stands as a memory of all of those years of backbreaking work planting, thinning, and harvesting sugar beets, and the smells of sugar processing and beet pulp.  I grew up on a sugar beet farm in northwest Wyoming.
