Fall Color in the Canyons

 
We went up both Big Cottonwood Canyon and Little Cottonwood Canyons this afternoon to check out the fall color.  The color in Little Cottonwood Canyon was best.  The day was heavily overcast which was perfect for photography.  I'll be posting a number of pictures from both canyons.  Today may have been the best day at the end of the autumn season as storms are expected this weekend.  you can see the virtual kaleidoscope of colors and hues on this wonderful Indian Summer day.  Not all of my photos will be crystal clear since most are taken from a moving car, but most of them, nonetheless, are worth showing because of the incredible color combinations and mountain scenes that they portray.
