A collection of distilled sarcastic wisdom, numerous photographs, discussions of books and stuff to learn and more stuff to think about from a retired economics professor turned blogger and photographer.
What I call the "big sand dune" at the south end of the Salt Lake UT Valley, otherwise the right end of it is called Point of the Mountain (Mountain?) as I-15 goes up this side, around the end, and then down into Utah Valley. the top of this ridge is a prime spot for hang gliders and paragliders. The right side of the big sand dune is being whittled away to get the sand necessary to build a city.
