For more than a dozen years, my wife and I have made our annual pilgrimage to the Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City in southern Utah. The Cedar Shakespearean Festival is a Tony award winning Festival, and is one of the premier Shakespearean venues in the country. Yesterday we saw Cyrano de Bergerac and Taming of the Shrew. This afternoon we'll see Fiddler on the Roof and then go to St. George where we'll see Les Mis at Tuacahn tomorrow night. Bryan Vaughn played Cyrano. Vaughn is one of the most popular actors in the Festival, year after year, and he shines again in this play. Taming of the Shrew is one of the most enjoyable versions of the play we have seen, filled with modern twists and turns. Read the reviews of the Shakespeare Festival plays here.
